Less Stress Dentistry: EB Techniques for Posterior Composite Restorations
Technique errors, incorrect material selection/placement and poor patient compliance will expedite failure of posterior composite restorations. This course will provide a current scientific update about what modifications are needed in private practice to improve skill, efficiency and outcomes in the Class 2 Posterior composite workflow. Step-by-step novel protocols for preparation, placement and finishing to achieve better margins, contacts and reduce post-operative problems will be demonstrated with video provided by dental microscope HD video.
- Review the scientific evidence about how, when, and why adhesively placed posterior composites fail
- Utilize simplified and innovative clinical protocols from preparing, to finishing, to optimizing restorative outcomes and reduce patient "issues"
- Attain more profitability using time efficient techniques
- Employ risk assessments and effective communicative skills to help patients understand their role in extending the longevity of their restorations
