Lasers make quick work of the retraction process, and can also prepare ideal contours for Gingival tissues surrounding dental restorations and implants. Proper disinfection of the sulcus, hemorrhage control and a dry field permit dentists to create outstanding results with far less effort and stress. Lasers point the way to long lasting restorations.

After this course attendees will be able to:
  • See why traditional means of retraction can cause harm to the periodontium
  • Learn how Diode Lasers are capable of removing only epithelium from a sulcus
  • View in microscopic detail how a diode laser cutting while coagulating gingival tissue
  • Learn how the path of insertion applies to gingival tissue
  • Appreciate how magnification and lighting can affect preparation precision
  • Understand that a Diode Laser can benefit a practice bottom line
