Photographing Patient's Malocclusion
The interrelationship between malocclusion and periodontal health is well researched, and today, adult patients are more open to this treatment option. Additionally, research is now focused on the benefits of orthodontic therapy in restoring periodontal status while enhancing the patient’s ability to maintain health.
- Develop the necessary skills to shoot essential photographs for quick co-diagnosis, as well as pretreatment, treatment, and post-treatment clinical angles
- Understand how digital photography can enhance the communication and understanding of malocclusion
- Gain knowledge of the ideal camera settings and the best way to capture the specific necessary images placement of retractors and use of clinical mirrors
- Practice uploading, basic image manipulation, and file storage
