Brian specializes in working with dentists trying to buy existing practices. Brian has nearly 15 years of experience assisting dentists with their financing needs.

Blake Cohen, is a partner with Rosen Summit Dental Advisors, formerly Summit Dental Partners. He is a graduate of Bentley University with a degree in Business Management. He brought his experience as a dental practice manager to his consulting career and had been working with dentists and dental offices in all areas of practice management, training, and daily operations. Blake is a frequent lecturer at the Massachusetts Dental Society and well as at the Yankee Dental Congress.

You will learn why it is important that an office has a strong cash flow, the pros and cons of buying a “fixer upper” and buying a “turn key” practice. We will review what a due diligence is and why it is important to perform one when purchasing an office. There will also be time for any and all questions to be answered.

After this course attendees will be able to:

  • Identify what happens after you sign the LOI
  • Determine what is a due diligence
  • Understand what are accounts receivables and do I buy them
  • Understand the transition process from associate to owner
  • Identify overlooked small, but important transition details
