Amber Auger, RDH is a practicing dental hygienist and clinical innovations implementation specialist. She works with practices to provide customized protocols, to refocus on the patient experience, and to utilize systemic approaches to periodontal therapy. She is a regular contributor to RDH magazine, a featured author for DentistryIQ, and host of #AskAmberRDH. Auger also provides preventive services abroad.

The correlation between biofilms and the initiation and progression of periodontal disease and peri-implant disease is undeniable. When left unmanaged, the destructive biofilm can impact the patient's systemic health. As dental professionals, we hold a vital role in selecting preventive oral products that will serve the patient's needs. This interactive course includes product demonstrations with the latest preventive oral health products.

After this course attendees will be able to:
  • Identify how to increase patient compliance with non-surgical periodontal therapy
  • Investigate the science behind biofilm and its link to oral and systemic inflammation
  • Discover the latest innovations in non-surgical periodontal disease treatment and prevention

Recommended Audience: Dentist, Hygienist
