speaker
Amber Auger, RDH is a practicing dental hygienist and clinical innovations implementation specialist. She works with practices to provide customized protocols, to refocus on the patient experience, and to utilize systemic approaches to periodontal therapy. She is a regular contributor to RDH magazine, a featured author for DentistryIQ, and host of #AskAmberRDH. Auger also provides preventive services abroad.

Change can be difficult for patients and clinicians. Clinical studies demonstrate the prevalence of periodontal disease among our patient populations, yet it is still vastly undertreated by the dental profession. Due to its multi-factorial nature, periodontal disease demands a comprehensive approach to treatment recommendations critical to the patient's long-term success. This CE lecture is designed to provide a practical implementation specific to the patient's staging and grading of the latest clinical and homecare innovations. In addition, attendees will identify how to increase patient compliance!

After this course attendees will be able to:
  • Discover the truth about dental dysbiosis and how to treat it
  • Identify chairside technologies to maximize the patient's periodontal outcomes
  • Create exceptional rapport with patients to implement effective motivational interviewing
Recommended Audience: Dentist, Hygienist
Ambient Noise Disclaimer: Please note that this course will be held on the Exhibit Hall Floor and will be subject to ambient noise.
