has practiced general dentistry in Fayette County for over 40 years. He is fully committed to providing the most cutting-edge dentistry by constant participation in continuing education. Dr. Cassis is fully certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support. He has had advanced training in laser dentistry, implant dentistry, cosmetics dentistry, oral sedation, occlusal diagnosis and treatment (TMJ) , gum disease diagnosis and treatment, braces, root canal therapy, Botox and sleep medicine.
Dr. Cassis has a passion for education and for supporting general dentists. He has served at the state and national levels for the Academy of General Dentistry, including Membership Committee, PACE and Communication Councils, as well as President. Currently, he is the Associate Editor of the AGD’s publications. Dr. Cassis has his Mastership in the AGD, has received the AGD’s Lifelong Service Recognition award.
He lectures extensively on the use of dental lasers to both dentist and hygienists nationwide. During his free time, he enjoys outdoor sports activities with his 5 sons and grandchildren.
