Attendees will have the opportunity in this course to use information given the previous day to more efficiently and predictably perform difficult surgical extractions. This covers flaps, sectioning multi-rooted teeth, and removing roots fractured deep in the socket, including near the sinus. They will personally use the most effective and useful instruments to do these procedures on life-like models. They will become proficient at using a periotome bur/Luxator to atraumatically excise roots by drilling into the PDL space for their removal. These exercises will prepare them to do exodontia in their offices more smoothly, safely, and with less wasted time.

Speakers

In this course attendees will:

  • Perform different kinds of surgical extractions
  • Make soft tissue flaps, section teeth, and remove whole roots and root tips
  • "Move right along" with the flow of extractions having more ideas of when one action does not work as planned

*Tuition includes cost of models that attendees will keep at the conclusion of the course.
