This course will explore and explain the interrelationships between systemic disorders and oral health. The bi-directional link will be made between periodontal disease and systemic conditions from 

understanding the pathways, the host response, and the impact on clinical practice outcomes. Risk assessment will be addressed in the context of the oral/systemic connection.
