This hands-on program is designed for the new dental assistant or hygienist who is just beginning their journey into assisting with implants. The instructor will review all parts of the dental implant, tray set up, and infection control as it pertains to this procedure, and caring and storing of all materials.
Speakers
In this course attendees will:
- Review the various parts of an implant, what role they play and when to use them
- Describe the procedure itself, the tray set up and take down, processing of instruments, and proper infection control techniques
- Identify key terms when discussing implants with patients
- Explore ways to communicate with patients about the benefits of dental implants
