You treat mega implant and cosmetic cases but you break out in a sweat when you hear three year old Johnny is showing up in your office at 8:00 am on Monday. You punt all the children to your associate because you don’t want to deal with Sally’s mom. You walk into the operatory and five year old Seymour is hanging from the overhead light while his dad is on his laptop making trades and gets mad at you when you tell Seymour to get down. We’ll review the nonpharmacologic (and sometimes pharmacologic) tips, and techniques needed to get the child through a dental visit despite the parents’ protests otherwise.
