This course will help dentists and other clinical staff better understand how to keep accurate and complete dental records, the required components of dental records, how to properly make entries in and/or amend dental records as well as the importance of periodically auditing dental records.
Speakers
After this course attendees will be able to:
- Maintain more complete and accurate dental records
- Compare strong and less-than-optimal entries
- Understand the importance of thorough records
- Learn what should not be in a dental record
- Complete and, if necessary, amend entries in a way that enhances patient treatment and reduces their own liability
- Prioritize the need to periodically audit their patients’ dental records
