Over-prescription of antibiotics is a growing problem and challenge. Too much exposure will cause resistance in humans. This course is designed to aid the dental assistant in reviewing patient health histories. All healthcare professionals should have knowledge on overuse and develop a stewardship plan. We will talk about proper use and new recommendations, ways to get the most information from your patient to be able to serve them better.
