Yankee Dental Congress Policies

 General Program Disclaimer

The continuing education program of the Yankee Dental Congress is planned and presented by the Program Committee to provide attendees with relative topics, speakers, and presentations. Neither the content nor the use of specific products in a course should be construed as indicating endorsement or approval of the views presented or the products used by the Yankee Dental Congress. Speakers are required to inform participants of any financial, commercial, or promotional interest in a product or company that may influence their presentations. The Yankee Dental Congress will not be responsible for a speaker’s failure to disclose such interest. The Yankee Dental Congress encourages the attendee to make independent judgments as to the topics, speakers, and presentations as the content of the program is not reviewed, approved, or necessarily agreed upon. As such, you acknowledge that any and all actions taken by you are done so at your own risk and you further agree to hold Yankee harmless from any and all liability in relation to the same. Please be advised that courses, speakers, or scheduling may change without notice.

Audiotaping, Videotaping, and Photography Policy

Attendees are not allowed to audiotape, videotape, or photograph any portion of the convention. This includes lectures, other meetings, the Exhibit Hall or Exhibit Hall activities, or any other portion of the convention. Violators of this policy will be removed from the premises and will have their registration revoked with no refund of registration fees or penalty to Yankee.

The Massachusetts Dental Society reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any courses or events during Yankee Dental Congress without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. The MDS may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced, including but not limited to: flyers, brochures, invitations, postcards, websites, etc.

 No Charge Courses

Preregistration is required for all No Charge courses, except the Student Debate. Your seat will be held for 10 minutes after the start of the course. When the room is filled, no additional people will be admitted and no standing is allowed per order of the fire marshal.

Exhibit Hall Disclaimer

By attending the Yankee Dental Congress, you acknowledge and accept that Yankee has assumed no duty to review, investigate, or otherwise approve, and has not reviewed, investigated, or otherwise approved, the quality, type, message, nature, or value of any product or service marketed by attendees and exhibitors. As such, you should conduct your own independent research of such products or services, and Yankee disclaims any liability for any damages to persons or property arising from the use of any product or service.

Corporate Forum, Exhibit Floor Classrooms, and Minuteman Disclaimer

An invitation to participate in the Corporate Forums, Exhibit Floor classrooms, and Minuteman Lectures was provided to all companies exhibiting at Yankee. The programs do not constitute endorsement by, Yankee Dental Congress, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the co-participating states.

The Massachusetts Dental Society has final approval of all speakers and topics.

What is the refund/cancellation policy?
2025 REFUND/CANCELLATION POLICY:

Requests for cancellations/refunds must be processed through our website yankeedental.com  under the “Access Existing Registration” tab; no later than December 27, 2024.  After this date, no refunds – including for absences due to illness (including COVID-19), late arrivals, weather, or parking difficulties – will be granted. Cancellation processing fees are $25 per canceled registration and $5 per course. The minimum refund allowed is $10. All requests must be submitted no later than: December 27, 2024.

All wristbands purchased to the Flo-Rida Concert on Friday January 31, 2025, are non-refundable. All sales are final, and Yankee Dental Congress does not offer any money-back guarantees, refunds, or exchanges for purchased concert purchases at any time. Any wristbands that are lost after being picked up onsite are not replaceable, and a new wristband must be purchased for entry.

By attending Yankee, I agree to voluntarily assume all risk related to exposure and illness and agree not to hold MDS or any of its affiliates, partners, sponsors, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, volunteers, or Event venues liable for illness.
