Dr. Nicole Cheek, the 100th President of NDA, is a distinguished leader celebrated for her dedication to community service and advocacy. After earning her D.D.S. from Howard University College of Dentistry, Dr. Cheek began her professional career working on NDA’s signature program, NDA-HEALTH NOW®, which aims to address health disparities and improve oral health outcomes in underserved communities. There, she spearheaded numerous outreach events, significantly impacting oral health accessibility and literacy nationwide. Having received numerous awards, Dr. Cheek is also published in AJPH and co-authored two chapters in the book “Oral Health in America: Removing the Stain of Disparity.”
