Samantha Parad, DMD, RN

Dr. Parad attended the University of Pennsylvania and entered the healthcare field as a registered nurse. She went on to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (TUSDM) and graduated summa cum laude. Through the completion of Harvard School of Dental Medicine’s general practice residency program, she gained exposure to treating medically compromised patients at Massachusetts General Hospital. In addition to returning to academia as an Assistant Professor at TUSDM, she practices dentistry at Franciscan Children’s Hospital alongside pediatric, general practice, and oral surgery residents training at local Boston dental schools and treats patients with special healthcare needs who often require care under general anesthesia. Dedicated to enhancing interprofessional education, Dr. Parad serves on several local, state, and national organizations and as a co-investigator for $1.5 million Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Grant.
