This course will help general dentists perform surgical extractions in the most modern and proficient manner. It includes case selection according the knowledge and experience of the clinician, thorough patient evaluation to prevent potential problems, how to proceed step-by-step to complete an extraction in a predictable timeframe, and proper postoperative care. It also covers the best and most effective instruments, handpieces, and burs along with how to utilize them in effective ways to “move right along” with procedures. This course gives updated information on treatment options to improve patient care.
