This course is designed to explain the etiology of gingival recession discussing the anatomy of the periodontium and the risk factors associated with recession. Techniques for treatment of recession are discussed and demonstrated.

- Recognize different mucogingival problems
- List the classifications of gingival recession
- Understand when and when not to treat a mucogingival problem
- Identify the specific therapies for mucogingival problems and when to use them
