You are starting to treatment plan devices to help manage sleep apnea, TMJ and or pain patients. Which one right for your patient and what if it treatment is not successful? There are many options and understanding the workflow of choosing one, delivery the device and managing those side effects can be challenging. If you are not prepared to manage the expectations of your patient or understand the limitations of their medical plan or dental plan, this level of service can be daunting for the dentist and their team. Come learn how you can be successful in managing the symptoms of the sleep or TMJ patient and get paid for services rendered.

Speakers

In this course attendees will:

  • Select the proper appliances for specific conditions related to sleep disorder breathing or TMJ
  • Understand how to adjust oral appliances to minimize side effects
  • Implement a workflow for efficiency, accurate records, and communication with the lab and the patient
  • Discuss billing for reimbursement using medical or dental benefits
