CBCT 3D Imaging for General Dentistry
In this course, you will learn what the applications for CBCT are for a restorative practice, beyond Endodontics and Implant Planning. We will review ways to achieve a healthy return on the investment. You will learn the basics of how to read a scan and how to implement CBCT into your existing digital workflow. Most importantly, you will learn why you should have a plan in place to incorporate CBCT diagnostic capabilities in your practice.
- Understand key limitations of 2D x-ray imaging
- Determine the Field of View (FOV) needed now and in the future
- Leverage CBCT to better understand which specialist to refer out to
- Recognize why some CBCT models can update capabilities as needed and some can not
- Review the basics of navigating a CBCT scan
